P6 enjoyed a wonderful trip at Palace Stables in Armagh to round off their World Around Us topic, World War 2. They met an American Wartime soldier who showed them how to stand to attention and hold a rifle, learned all about rationing and air raid shelters, crafted their own identity cards and presented them to an evacuation officer! This was a fantastic, hands-on experience which the pupils all enjoyed!
