A packed audience of pupils, staff and families thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful performance by our amazing P2 pupils at assembly on Friday. Using the book, ‘The Little Red Hen,’ as a stimulus coupled with our whole school Barnardo’s PATHS+ PDMU programme, the P2’s taught us all about friendship and being kind and helpful. Throw into the mix their study of Picasso and his abstract drawings of the animals in the book replicated by the pupils this assembly had it all. A big thank you to Mrs Garvey, Miss Niamh & Miss Claire for preparing the children to Let Their Light Shine for all to see. Watch it back and see for yourself.
