P3 children became weather detectives during our recent Winter World Around Us topic. They learned all about the signs of winter and how weather forecasters used lots of different instruments to measure and predict the weather. Our rain gauges were full due to the wet weather we had recently. During science lessons, the children investigated how to melt ice quickly. They also learnt about how our homes are heated today and were in the past.
Miss Greene taught us how to print snowflakes and we loved learning how to stitch. We made salt snowflakes also. We loved this topic!
