Primary 3 Class recently welcomed Cara’s granda, Oliver Haughey, to help us learn about bread delivery both now and in the past. For many years Oliver worked in our locality delivering the bread and he shared many memories from his days as a breadman. He showed us different types of things which he sold from his bread van (bread, buns, drinks, comics etc) and we looked at photographs and his moneybag. We loved to hear his stories and are grateful that he shared his time with us.
