At a special assembly today we welcomed a host of Killeavy GAA personnel to our school to showcase all the silverware won last season from senior football, hurling, camogie and Scor. Chairperson Sean Callan then presented a Killeavy jersey to every P1 to P4 child. Hopefully this wonderful gesture will pave the way for many of our young pupils to join Killeavy this coming season. As a school we are delighted that our local club is building a stronger relationship with us and we look forward to the next phase of them introducing coaching for the big and small ball in the coming weeks.
