Raisin Mulgrew from Newry Head Injury Support called today to collect our very own scarecrow to bring to Derrymore Woods as part of the haunted Halloween Walk happening this coming Sunday 26th October. Before she left she talked to the children about the importance of wearing helmets when cycling, being careful when near moving traffic, not to be walking or driving while looking at a mobile phone and about wearing seatbelts. Great advice for adults too. If you can get along on Sunday and don’t forget to vote for poor ol Deadhead.
