The sun certainly shone on Saturday for our Primary 4 First Communion at St. Joseph’s Church, Meigh. It was a glorious day in so many ways. The mass itself was a lovely occasion that ensured all 31 children had their own special part to play. The music and singing provided by our choir, soloists and instrumentalists was nothing short of pure enjoyment for all present all thanks to Mrs Garvey, Mr Murphy and Miss Niamh. Back at the school was a sight to behold thanks to all our amazing staff and parent volunteers who provided hospitality that was second to none. We are very privileged to have such a wonderful and supportive school community here in Meigh.
