Having won their section at Silverbridge a month ago all roads led to Harp’s Abbey Park, Armagh for the Girls’ Indoor GAA Football County Final’s today. It was fast paced and action packed from the off. 5 a-side indoor Gaelic football is not for the faint hearted. Having won their first game the girls entered the next match composed and ready for battle. They got off to a great start and were dominant for large parts but just didn’t get sufficient scores due to some great defending blocks from the opposing team. 5 minutes goes quick and all too soon it was all over. The girls can hold their heads high, they left nothing behind and were gracious in defeat. There will be plenty more opportunity for this team, along with others, to once again show their skill set in upcoming fixtures on the more spacious ‘big field’. We are very proud of each and everyone of them. 👏👏👏
