Primary 4 had a very busy week. Many were busy on Monday creating St. Brigid's Crosses to celebrate St. Brigid's Day.
This was Children's Mental Health Week and this year's theme was ‘Express Yourself.' Each day we thought about different things that make us happy and how we express that. We used the film SING to show how the different characters expressed themselves through their actions and the different songs they sang. We shared the different songs, films, places, things and people that make us smile and feel happy. They were also encouraged to sing along with a song from the film each day as loud as they could and dance about the kitchen to it.
At the end of the week the children created a poster of all the things that made them smile. I really enjoyed the activities and I think the Primary 4 pupils and their families did as well.
